He is the founder of Cosmos Cooperative, editor-in-chief of Metapsychosis journal, publisher of Untimely Books, and creator of the Infinite Conversations forum. He is the author of I AM THE SINGULARITY, a book of poetry due to be published in late 2025. Marco was born in New York City in 1975 to immigrant parents from El Salvador and Italy. He grew up in a Long Island suburb called New Hyde Park and completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University, with a double-major in Philosophy and Comparative Literature. He then joined an international non-profit, volunteering with a small team in Nicaragua, where he worked on a rural construction project dedicated to community health. During this time, he translated young poets, ultimately publishing an anthology of Nicaraguan poetry titled Ruben’s Orphans: Anthology of Contemporary Nicaraguan Poetry (Painted Rooster Press, 2000). From 2003 to 2007, Marco worked with philosopher Ken Wilber as a member of Integral Institute, where he co-authored the handbook Integral Life Practice: A 21st-Century Blueprint for Physical Health, Emotional Balance, Mental Clarity, and Spiritual Awakening (Shambhala Publications, 2008). Since 2013, Marco has been dedicated to building the Cosmos Co-op community and bringing the vision of Cosmos to life. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughters, practicing energy arts and meditation, reading books and listening to music, and going on inner and outer adventures with friends.
