Equal Care Co-op

Description

Our purpose is to change the balance of power in social care to favour those who are doing the receiving and those who are doing the giving. People getting support build their own Team and choose who becomes a member of it, whether they are paid, family or people giving voluntary support. Our care and support workers are independent or employed. They are paid a decent wage for the skilled work they do (we are a Real Living Wage employer) without increasing costs to people getting support. We facilitate a mutual match to get things off to the best start and create meaningful, resilient and consistent caregiving relationships.
