The Drivers Cooperative in Colorado, in collaboration with The Drivers Cooperative of New York, is forming a driver-owned ride-share platform. This initiative, launching in early 2024, aims to provide better working conditions and pay for ride-share drivers through a worker-owned app, Coop-Ride, serving as an alternative to Uber/Lyft. The cooperative's mission is to generate social mobility, close the wealth gap, and create a more just and equitable workplace for Colorado's ride-share drivers.
